Description

The Warren Heights condos sit on a quiet street very close to the intersection of Highway 1 and the Revere Beach Parkway in northern Chelsea. A modern, four-story brick building houses these units. From this location, many residents enjoy excellent views of the surrounding neighborhood.

Developers constructed the rectangular brick building in 1970. It sits along Warren Avenue, a gently curving road extending off Summit Avenue on its southeastern end and winding northwards up a hill to join Franklin Avenue (close to the intersection with Summit Avenue) on its most northwestern end. Prescott Avenue runs parallel to the southern portion of Warren Avenue, while Jefferson Avenue roughly parallels the northern half. The Warren Heights condominiums stand close to the mid-point of Warren Avenue, a short distance south of the Murray Street intersection.

Detached single family dwellings sit on either side of the building, and across the street. A sidewalk accommodates pedestrians along this roadway. The main entrance to the condo building stands along Warren Avenue. It displays attractive exterior landscaping. Visitors reach the lobby by traveling down a short flight of cement steps, passing beneath an awning and entering the building through commercial-style glass doors.

A tall wood privacy fence extends along the eastern border of this property. On the western edge, a paved driveway leads to off-street private parking in the rear of the building. Condo owners enjoy unassigned parking in this paved location.

The building offers four floors. In addition to stairs, it includes an elevator. All the condos here offer covered metal balconies, and many furnish panoramic views of the neighborhood.

Enjoy a Condo With Extensive Natural Light

These condominiums date from 1970, and include some distinctive features from that era. Many still retain recessed ceiling lighting. The balcony doors admit copious natural light, allowing these units to offer an open, airy design. Some units offer wood flooring.

Many units in this location include a single bedroom and bathroom, although a few offer additional bedrooms and baths. They vary in size, and include some 680 square feet, 710 square feet, and 850 square feet floor plans. The building enjoys professional management hired by the condo association.

In 2017, the HOA fee in this residential community stood in the upper $300 range. This fee includes a variety of services, including heat and hot water. The condo management association assumes responsibility for exterior maintenance.

The Neighborhood

This peaceful enclave lies just a short distance away from the busy Highway 1 and Revere Beach Parkway intersection. Residents can walk to this location from a city public bus stop on the far side of the intersection of Warren Avenue and Summit Avenue at the base of the hill. A public elementary school, middle school, and high school reportedly stand within a one mile radius of this location.

Residents can use Highway 1, a major north-south transportation corridor through the Greater Boston Metropolitan Area, to reach a shopping center just a short drive away. The highway also furnishes ready access to a variety of medical services and employment opportunities. A public beach lies less than five miles from this spot. Online maps indicate Mallone Park supplies hike and bike trails and a green area close to this condo development, on the other side of Summit Avenue.
