Canton Apartments

The town of Canton is perhaps best-known as the corporate headquarters for Dunkin' Donuts, but it's also the HQ of several other major companies such as the North American division of Reebok. The town was separated from Stoughton in 1797 by Elijah Dunbar, who wrongly believed that Canton's position on Earth was the exact opposite of that of the Chinese city of Canton. Today, Canton has a population of 21,500 people, and Boston touches the city to the north, so this is a perfect place to find a rental away from the hustle of the big city.

Mass transit options include the MBTA's Providence/Stoughton line, which crosses over the Neponset River on the historic Canton Viaduct. This bridge was built in 1835 and is one of the oldest stone railroad bridges still in use in the United States. The town's school district has three elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. There are also several specialty and private schools to be found. Downtown offers many fine shops and restaurants with food from around the world, and newer economic development is growing in the southern part of town.

Besides the plentiful individual listings, there are complexes that reflect the town's peaceful nature like Waterfall Hills at Canton, which is on Waterfall Drive. Apartments here can come with one or two bedrooms depending on your personal preference. There are many different designs you can choose from, but every unit has central air, pre-furnished appliances, and a mix of carpeted and tile floors. Each space has an outdoor area with your choice of a porch, balcony, deck or patio. There's also a common barbecue area where neighbors can sit back and enjoy an evening cooking on the grill. They also have a recycling service, garage parking for a fee, and Spanish-speaking staff if the need arises.
